Creating Views for SharePoint Survey list using UI

In SharePoint, Views are used to display the items in a library/list with the custom look. SharePoint allows us to create custom list views. but, for the survey lists Microsoft is not provided with any settings pages to create a views by default.

But, there is a work around approach to create a Custom Views on the SharePoint Survey List types:

Add Custom View to Survey List:

• Open SharePoint Site. 
• Open the Survey List.
• Click on Settings > Survey Settings. 
• Find the List ID from the List URL.

                     Example:

• Now replace the "survedit.aspx" with "viewtype.aspx" in the URL of the browser as below:

• Then choose the view type for the survey list 
• Enter the "View Name" in the View Name Field.
• Press OK.

You can also add survey lists in SharePoint Site Programmatically.
